15 years ago, Wendy started sharing her passion and joy for chocolate, food, and all things hospitality teaching from her kitchen table. Today, she hosts all her classes in her brand-new (and pretty amazing) Chocolate School and enjoys working with students from all around the world.

Learn from the legendary Wendy Alford, one of Australia’s top chocolatiers, who has been sharing her passion for chocolate, food, and hospitality for over 15 years.

Tocumwal Chocolate School offers classes for everyone.  For the beginners, or if you are looking to have light-hearted chocolate fun, you can learn about chocolate tempering, and make your own Artisan Chocolate Bar or Chocolate truffle, or get creative by picking toppings, flavours and decorations.

For the more serious chocolate lovers, you can learn how to make ganache and caramel or go straight to spraying shells for Bon Bons.

And for those who prefer not to get messy – a tutored tasting of dark, milk and white chocolate from around the world is the perfect treat (with or without a glass of wine to accompany!)

Whatever class you attend, everything you need will be provided, including a fabulous lunch served on the deck overlooking the flood plains on full day classes.

We had an excellent time and Wendy, and Martin are great hosts. Lots of thought and attention to detail was evident from the décor to the menu and across the board. Wendy’s food surpassed our expectations and we looked forward to breakfast every morning while we took in the view out over the property watching the wildlife. The room was very comfortable and the pool was perfect which made relaxing very easy. We loved the chocolate making experience. It is not something we would usually have tried but it was well worth it. We look forward to going back soon

The fine details and beautifully decorated accommodation were very comfortable and welcoming. Beds and linen extremely comfortable. The personal touches and facilities made our stay so relaxing. The meals and breakfast were catered for varying dietary requirements and absolutely delicious. Wendy is a very gracious and welcoming host. We did not attend a class, but we did sample the delicious selection of handmade chocolates. They are exquisite. Having to say goodbye and leave to go home. I will be returning.

We booked for the Murray River location at the end of our road trip. Quality of the studio and the plunge pool caught our attention. The best part of our experience was the food, relaxation nature and studio décor. Its others I would say visit and make sure you eat in.
